Job summary

A leading training provider for electricians is seeking an Electrical Training Officer to support and guide apprentices across North Cumbria. In this role, you'll manage a caseload, conduct assessments, collaborate with employers, and help apprentices achieve their qualifications. Ideal candidates will be qualified electricians with a commitment to mentoring and empowering the next generation. Qualifications

  • Qualified electrician with a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent.
  • Verifiable industry experience as a qualified operative/practitioner.
  • Current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) or willingness to upskill.

Responsibilities

  • Support apprentices through regular workplace visits and reviews.
  • Work with employers to engage with apprentice’s progress.
  • Carry out assessments of apprentice knowledge and skills.

Qualified electrician, NVQ Level 3
