Support and shape the next generation of electricians Are you ready to take your industry experience and use it to inspire and guide the next generation? Whether you’re an experienced assessor or a qualified electrician looking to move off the tools, this is your opportunity to play a vital role in helping apprentices develop the skills, knowledge, and professional standards they need to succeed.
At JTL, we’re committed to delivering more than qualifications, we prepare our apprentices for life and work. As an Electrical Training Officer, you’ll combine assessment, mentoring, coaching, and employer engagement to ensure every apprentice gets the support they need to progress, achieve, and thrive. It’s a role where you’ll see the direct results of your guidance in the confidence, competence, and career success of the people you support, making it both challenging and deeply rewarding.
You’ll manage a caseload of apprentices across the region, working closely with both learners and employers to monitor progress, provide constructive feedback, and ensure apprentices are on track to meet the full requirements of their apprenticeship standard. This role is about more than ticking boxes; you’ll be a trusted advisor, coach, and link between the apprentice, their employer, and JTL, ensuring all three work together towards successful outcomes.
JTL is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all its employees to share this commitment in conjunction with the requirements of the Prevent Duty and the positive promotion of modern British values.
If you’re ready to make a lasting difference in the lives of future electricians — and want to join a team that values your expertise, supports your development, and celebrates your success — we’d love to hear from you.
