The Foxhunter Park is a five‑star holiday park located in Monkton, near Ramsgate on the picturesque Kent coast. Known for its exceptional amenities, the park offers a heated pool, a bar and restaurant, live entertainment, and more. It is a favored destination for both owners and holidaymakers who appreciate its premium facilities. Situated a short drive away from Kent’s golden sandy beaches, The Foxhunter Park serves as the perfect base for exploring the surrounding area.

Role Description

This is a full‑time, on‑site role based at The Foxhunter Park in Herne Bay as a Chef. The Chef will oversee the preparation and presentation of high‑quality dishes, ensuring optimal flavor and appearance. Daily responsibilities include planning menus, managing kitchen staff, maintaining food quality and hygiene standards, and managing inventory and supplies effectively. The Chef will also support the restaurant’s smooth operation during busy service hours, working closely with the rest of the team to deliver exceptional guest satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Proven cooking skills, experience in menu planning, and expertise in creating high‑quality dishes
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and proper kitchen sanitation practices
  • Team management and leadership abilities with strong communication skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to perform under pressure
  • Creativity in designing appealing and diverse menu options
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a restaurant or holiday park setting is highly desirable
  • Relevant culinary certification or training is a bonus
