The Dains Group are rapidly expanding, and our Birmingham audit team is looking to recruit a tenacious and ambitious Assistant Manager.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will gain valuable experience working across diverse sectors in the Midlands. You’ll enjoy the autonomy to manage your own work while benefiting from the guidance and support of experienced managers, directors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise audit teams, providing leadership, mentorship, and support to junior colleagues
  • Review audit files to ensure accuracy, compliance, and consistently high standards.
  • Identify key operational issues for clients, recommending practical solutions while maintaining strong, trusted client relationships.
  • Act as the primary liaison between clients and management throughout the audit process.
  • Prepare audit files in line with the firm’s audit manual for managerial review.
  • Perform detailed technical work with a focus on delivering exceptional client service in a collaborative and supportive environment.
  • Approach complex technical matters with confidence, commercial awareness, and initiative.
