Job summary

A leading technology provider in Brighton is seeking a Support Technician to provide first point of contact support for clients' IT infrastructure. The role involves proactively resolving technical issues and ensuring systems are operational. Candidates should have a basic understanding of IT, experience with Windows, and excellent customer service skills. Benefits include health care and generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

  • Sound understanding of IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with Windows systems configuration.
  • Willingness to learn and cooperate in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first point of contact support to clients.
  • Proactively resolve technical incidents and problems.
  • Perform ongoing monitoring and maintenance.

Skills

Basic understanding of IT and terminology
Experience with Windows desktop operating systems
Experience in configuring wireless networks
Understanding of Microsoft Office suite & Microsoft 365
Excellent telephone manner
Problem solving and common sense
