Qualifications

• Any applicable Corporate Governance qualifications would be desirable.
• Broad experience of corporate governance, ideally within financial services.
• Ability to demonstrate transferable skills to a Corporate Governance role.

Responsibilities

• Support annual fitness and propriety assessments for SMCR.
• Update Terms of Reference and prepare governance reports.
• Draft and maintain governance-related policies.

Skills

Knowledge of the UK Corporate Governance Code

Excellent organisational and communication skills

Ability to build influence and relationships

Good awareness of FCA regulations and SMCR requirements

Education

Corporate Governance qualifications (e.g. CGQP)
