Key Account Manager - Joinery Products - West Midlands

Due to continued growth and expansion, they are seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team. As Sales Executive you will be the first point of call for key customers and be expected to deliver outstanding customer services, and you will be responsible for both developing existing accounts and securing new business opportunities.

Reporting to: SALES DIRECTOR

Working within a team that continually works together in promoting the company’s high end Joinery Products & Components into the Merchant / DIY Retail Sector, and be responsible for the Key Account Management of National Builders Merchants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build sales, pursue leads, and follow on enquiries
  • Understand customer needs and requirements, research accounts, identify key players
  • Manage and grow Merchant Trading Agreement
  • Travel to clients, both existing and new, to maintain, strengthen and develop relationships
  • Generate new business and be involved in the company’s growth and expansion
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
  • Proven sales experience in the Merchant Sector
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
  • Knowledge and strong experience dealing with the buying Groups
  • Customer focused with sound commercial skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills

Location/Area: West Midlands
