Job summary

A reputable organization in St. Ives is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead strategic HR initiatives and operations. This hands-on generalist role involves managing a high-performing HR team, driving culture and engagement, and overseeing HR operations including payroll systems. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in HR management with expertise in employee relations and UK employment law. Benefits include generous annual leave and private medical insurance.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist role.
  • Hands‑on experience leading and developing an HR team.
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment law.
  • Experience delivering HR projects and managing change.
  • Confidence using HR data and insight to inform decisions.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR and Talent professionals.
  • Drive culture, values, engagement, performance management, and leadership development.
  • Deliver HR strategy aligned to business objectives.
  • Oversee UK HR operations, including payroll and HR systems.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations and people management.
  • Lead HR projects including reward, benefits alignment, and organisational change.
