  • Previous management experience in Recruitment and Onboarding.
  • Ability to prioritise workload.
  • Capacity to ensure the smooth running of our HR Systems.
  • Confident speaking in public, conducting interviews and sharing new ideas.
  • Knowledge of GDPR principles.
  • Supportive attitude and willing to take ownership & leadership.
What will you be doing?

The HR Onboarding Team Lead will oversee the daily operations of the HR Onboarding function and team, ensuring the efficient and effective execution of the volunteer onboarding process. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, who can manage a team, develop strategies, and enhance employee experience while ensuring compliance with charity policies and legal regulations.

Job Specification
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the HR Onboarding team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Assign tasks, set performance goals, and monitor the progress of team members.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to the team to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Develop and implement procedures and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with department heads to understand volunteer needs and align Onboarding efforts with charity objectives.
  • Maintain and optimise tools and processes to ensure a smooth and timely onboarding experience.
  • Oversee volunteers onboarding processes, ensuring new hires are integrated effectively into the charity.
  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the performance management process, including performance reviews, goal setting, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Exploring learning and development opportunities by creating videos and manuals for our staff.
