We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Operative with a positive and proactive attitude to join our team at our Rehoming Centre ensuring the centre is safe and fit for business purposes. We’re looking for someone able to carry out planned and reactive maintenance in the rehoming centre environment, including all equipment and vehicles associated with the rehoming centre. You’ll also support the management team in the smooth running and professional presentation of the rehoming centre.
As Maintenance Operative, you’ll:

A qualified tradesperson or experienced handyperson you\'ll a good understanding of routine maintenance in a practical working environment and an awareness of current Health & Safety legislation. You will be an excellent communicator, have a problem-solving attitude and keen eye for detail. But above all you\'ll have an empathy towards the dogs in the centre and a commitment to the aims and values of Dogs Trust.
