A prominent support organization in Haywards Heath is seeking compassionate Support Workers for full-time roles. You will assist individuals with profound learning disabilities, and flexibility for varied shifts—including evenings—is essential. The ideal candidate displays a positive attitude and excellent communication skills. Benefits include 32 days of paid holiday, pension schemes, and access to health plans. We are looking for positive, compassionate and caring Support Workers to join our team in Haywards Heath on a full time, permanent basis (37.5 hours per week).
We would prefer you to be a driver but this is not essential.
We support three people who share their home and have profound and multiple learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairment and physical disability. The service has a busy schedule and enjoys a variety of hobbies and. We use a dynamic approach to enable the people we support to communicate through alternative tools and methods, such as Makaton or a photo translation book.
As a Support Worker, flexibility is key. You may be required to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, sleep‑ins and weekends. While we need a flexible rota, we also understand your own commitments and will try to accommodate them.
We are looking for people with a ‘can‑do’ attitude who are strongly motivated, outgoing, caring, and have a calm demeanour when needed.
All roles are subject to an enhanced DBS check and suitable references.
