A prominent charity organization is seeking Support Workers for their Northallerton Supported Living service. This role involves helping individuals with learning disabilities lead fulfilling lives through daily support and engagement. Calling all compassionate and dedicated individuals! Mencap is seeking passionate Support Workers to join our incredible team in Northallerton Supported Living.
As a Support Worker, you\u2019ll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with learning disabilities. You will be working with a diverse group of people, each with their own unique abilities and needs. From assisting with daily activities to providing emotional support, you\u2019ll play a vital role in their life.
You\u2019ll be supporting three gentlemen with learning disabilities, each with their own individual personalities, needs, and interests. They do not always spend time together, and your support will be tailored to each person.
Their home can sometimes be challenging, so we\u2019re looking for someone who can bring calmness, encouragement, resilience, and a positive outlook, even on tough days.
You\u2019ll support each person to live their best life at home and in the community, including:
All our services are 24hr care. We prepare the rotas at least 4 weeks in advance so you can still plan your personal and social life!
There is also a sleep-in available where you will receive an enhanced flat rate payment of £62.45.
