A leading UK health organization in Cardiff seeks a Specialist Physiotherapist - Cardio-Thoracic. This part-time role (18.75 hours/week) involves delivering high-quality physiotherapy to diverse patients with complex conditions. The role requires significant post-registration experience and specialized training. You'll be part of a multidisciplinary team, managing your own caseload and mentoring students. Qualifications

• Significant post registration experience in Cardio-thoracic surgery, Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation.
• Experience working as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT).
• Active involvement in service development and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Work as an autonomous practitioner in specialist clinical area.
• Deliver physiotherapy services to patients with complex needs.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to physiotherapists and students.

Skills

Highly developed physical skills relevant to Cardio-Thoracic surgery, Cardiology and Cardiac Rehabilitation

Excellent communication skills with healthcare professionals and the public

Adaptive and flexible team player

Effective organisational skills

Confident with digital technology platforms/apps

Effective Presentation Skills

Education

Relevant qualification in Physiotherapy

HCPC registration

Specialist training/courses to Postgraduate Diploma level
