About Us

Macro is a recognised global specialist in facilities management, providing cutting-edge services to some of the most prominent brands offering workplace design, helpdesk services, interim property management, and providing solutions to making buildings healthier, smarter and sustainable by using advanced technological solutions. We are driven by a commitment to excellence in everything we do. Our values—Drive for Better, Delight Customers, Do What’s Right and Develop People—shape our culture and guide our decision-making. Our strategic priorities focus on Everyday Excellence, Outstanding Experience, and Everlasting Impact. Experience the perfect blend of opportunity and community, where you will benefit from a supportive and people-focused culture. Join our team to contribute to an organisation that prioritises innovation and technology.

About the Role

To help shape our future, we are seeking a Talent Partner to build and lead our Talent & Development function from the ground up. This is a rare opportunity to design, prioritise and embed what really matters — creating practical, high-impact talent and learning solutions that enable our strategy, strengthen leadership capability, and support sustainable growth.

This role is not about inherited frameworks or over-engineered programmes. It’s about clarity, focus and delivery.

You will bring the initiative, judgement, and experience to:

  • Establish a fit-for-purpose Talent & Learning strategy aligned to our purpose, values, and strategic priorities.
  • Build the foundations of a global function — determining what we do, when, and why.
  • Prioritise ruthlessly, ensuring that effort and investment deliver measurable value to the business.
  • Partner closely with senior leaders to build leadership capability, succession, and future-ready skills.
  • Create simple, scalable approaches to learning, development, early careers, and talent pipelines.
  • Embed a culture of continuous development that supports performance, engagement and retention.
About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience in Talent and/or Learning in a complex, preferably global organisation.
  • Experience in building or resetting a function — knowing what is essential, what can wait, and what to stop.
  • Strong commercial and strategic judgement, with the confidence to challenge and influence at senior level.
  • A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset — you turn ambition into action.
  • Credibility working in operational, people-intensive environments (FM, Retail, engineering, services, or similar).
  • A leadership style grounded in clarity, trust and purpose.
Diversity Statement

We want to create a workplace where everyone feels safe to bring their whole selves to work. We recognise that every individual has different needs. This is Macro’s EDI campaign, a commitment to understanding and supporting those needs, both professionally and personally. Our aim is to help identify and acknowledge individual needs that may impact work-life experience. It’s about being proactive, learning from one another, and creating a supportive space that encourages growth and productivity.
