Experience in clinical skills such as wound care management and administering injections is preferred but not mandatory, as training will be provided. An exciting opportunity has arisen at Old Machar Medical Practice for a committed and enthusiastic Practice Nurse or Treatment Room Nurse to join our team.
We are a friendly, forward-thinking training practice serving approximately 19,500 patients across Aberdeen City.
We are seeking a compassionate, empathetic Nurse who thrives in a team environment and brings a high level of motivation and adaptability. Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently, demonstrate initiative and consistently deliver high-quality care to our patients.
Applicants must be registered with theNursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Working collaboratively with our supportive Nursing Team, the ideal candidate will preferably have experience in wound care management, venepuncture, ECGs, administering injections, spirometry and clinical stock management.
Experience in cervical screening, Near Patient Testing, and chronic disease monitoring would be highly beneficial. While prior experience in general practice is desirable, it is not essential, as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Full-time and part-time arrangements will be considered.
Working hours:Between 8am and 6pm, Monday to Friday
Location: Role based across both King Street and Jesmond practice sites
Salary:Dependent on experience
