Treatment Room Practice Nurse - Shirley Health Partnership

Location: Shirley Health Partnership
Hours: Flexible 20-37 hours per week
Salary: Comparable to NHS Band 5 dependant on experience
Contract: Permanent

About the Role

We’re looking for a caring and enthusiastic Treatment Room Nurse to join our nursing team. This is a lovely opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships with patients and being part of a close-knit practice where your contribution really matters.

You’ll be delivering a range of treatment room services while working alongside experienced GPs, nurses and our wider healthcare team.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Providing wound care and dressings
• Administering adult and childhood immunisations and vaccinations
• Carrying out cervical cytology
• Supporting patients with long-term conditions
• ECGs, blood pressure checks and phlebotomy
• Helping maintain high standards of infection control

What We’re Looking For

• A Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration
• Experience in a GP practice or primary care setting desirable
• Enjoys autonomous working within a supportive team
• Values patient-centred, high-quality care
• Brings calm, compassion, and clinical confidence to every interaction
• A warm, approachable manner and good communication skills

It Would Be Great If You Also Have

• Cytology and immunisation training
• Familiarity with EMIS
