We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Site Operative to join our recycling centre team in Maidstone. This hands-on role involves supporting the public with safe and efficient recycling of household waste. What you’ll be doing

• Supporting the public with safe disposal of household waste and promoting effective recycling

• Greeting customers and maintaining a helpful, positive attitude

• Keeping the site clean, safe, and compliant with health & safety regulations

• Using digital devices to manage bookings, vouchers, and electronic payments

• Reporting safety issues promptly to site management

• Performing regular cleaning tasks including sweeping, litter picking, and spill control

• Reinforcing site rules and promoting responsible site usage

• Wearing a body camera (provided) to support site safety for both staff and customers
