A prominent heritage organization in East Cowes is seeking a Learning and Participation Officer. This full-time role involves delivering engaging curriculum-linked activities for primary and secondary schools. You will develop resources, support various projects, and work with diverse audiences. Candidates should have strong planning and educational program delivery experience. We are looking for a Learning and Participation Officer to join our team. The role is full time and permanent, working 36 hours per week. The successful candidate will support, manage and deliver engaging and inclusive curriculum‑linked schools' activities for both primary and secondary school groups, through English Heritage's award‑winning Discovery Visit and Free Education Visit programmes. You will also deliver special projects for target audiences, which may include outreach sessions, training opportunities for teachers and development of resources to support pupils, teachers and young people during taught, self‑guided or remote learning experiences. You will work with site team colleagues and volunteers to deliver learning experiences and activities and with other colleagues and stakeholders to develop bespoke projects and resources.
