A local educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking an Administrative Assistant. £29,148 - £29,732 pro rata / £15.97 – £16.29 per hour (including Distant Islands Allowance)
We are looking for an Administrative Assistant to provide all aspects of clerical and administrative support within Westray Junior High School.
Previous experience of working in a busy office is essential, as is experience of office and financial systems and procedures and Microsoft Office applications.
You must be highly motivated and have a flexible and positive approach to all aspects of work.
Your communication and organisational skills must be of the highest standard as you will be required to work on your own initiative and as part of a team liaising with the public, the pupils, the staff and parents.
You should be able to uphold the highest levels of confidentiality.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and precision will also be some of your main strengths as these qualities are crucial within this role.
Applicants must hold a qualification at SCQF Level 5/6 (SVQ2, National 5, Standard Grades, O Grade, Intermediate 2, SVQ3, Higher, National Certificate, Foundation Apprenticeship) or have a minimum of two years previous relevant experience.
