Up to £55,000 basic + on-call + overtime
Are you a skilled Commercial Gas Engineer looking for your next big opportunity? We're partnering with a leading provider of cutting‑edge, bespoke energy solutions who are expanding their team – and they want YOU to help support key sites across Southern England. This is a fantastic chance to join a forward‑thinking business where no two days are the same. You'll take the lead on servicing, repairing and commissioning a wide range of gas appliances, from light commercial to large industrial systems. You'll be the expert on the ground – solving problems, spotting opportunities, and ensuring customers receive a five‑star service every time.
- Servicing boilers, forced‑draught burners, water heaters, overhead radiant tubes & warm air heaters
- Diagnosing faults and repairing a wide variety of gas appliances
- Commissioning boilers, burners, water heaters and warm air units
- Testing and purging pipework systems to IGEM/UP/1A & IGEM/UP/1
- Participating in an on‑call rota
- Working closely with the helpdesk team to meet agreed SLAs
- Reading and following site‑specific RAMS
- Ensuring all work aligns with industry standards and guidelines
- Commercial Gas qualifications – COCN1, CORT1, CIGA1, TPCP1 & 1A, ICPN1
- Strong fault‑finding skills and experience using electrical testing equipment
- A self‑starter with solid problem‑solving ability
- Completed industry‑standard apprenticeship
- Full clean driving licence
- Reliable, punctual and adaptable
- Comfortable working independently
- Confident using handheld electronic devices
