If you enjoy surfing the internet or selling online why not join our retail team. This is an excellent opportunity if you want to gain experience in marketing and retail but would also suit someone who wishes to use their existing skills. Volunteering in our retail team is also an excellent way to make new friends and have fun.
There is no minimum time commitment that we expect from our volunteers so whether you can do a few hours a week or once a month, we’ll do our best to offer a role that fits in with your schedule. No previous experience is necessary as training will be provided.
If you decide to apply a member of the volunteering team will contact you and ask you to come in for an initial chat. This is not an interview, just a chance to get an idea of what is involved.

Our Volunteer eCommerce Assistant’s play an essential role in the smooth running of our online shop while raising vital funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research
- Researching the value of donated items and setting prices
- Preparing suitable donated items for listing on online

- Basic computer, internet, and photography skills
- Experience of selling online is desirable but not essential as training will be provided

- It is a great way to support a worthwhile cause. You will be playing a key role in raising funds which will help more people across Yorkshire avoid and survive cancer
