Sue Ryder Tankerton shop is looking for volunteers to join the team. This is a specialist donated clothing boutique with a varied selection of books and music, a large toy section, and a reputation for a fantastic range of handbags, shoes and ladies clothing. It offers a friendly, community-based environment where volunteers help the shop run smoothly and support customers.
Our Tankerton shop is a community-focused venue that welcomes volunteers to help behind the scenes, sort donations, prepare items for sale and keep the shop stocked for customers. We have wonderful support from customers and volunteers alike.
Support our shops behind the scenes, back of house, sorting donations, getting things ready for sale and making sure the shop is kept stocked and ready for our customers. Please note we have a minimum age requirement of 18 years for shop volunteering.
You will be helping us inspire communities to provide more care for more people through innovating and collaborating on ways to reduce, reuse and recycle. Full training will be provided, and travel at a reasonable local rate can be reimbursed for shifts of four hours or more, as agreed with the local manager.
Volunteering is flexible and can be a regular morning or afternoon. You can opt for weekdays, weekends, or as and when you are available. We ask that you commit to at least 2 hours per week to help training embed and for you to complete tasks.
