Crux Product Design is a forward-thinking and fast-growing consultancy, and we’re on the lookout for a talented and detail-driven Bid Writer. In this key role, you’ll be at the heart of our commercial team, crafting compelling proposals that win work with leading global clients.

Working closely with our Client Development and Technical teams, you’ll turn complex, technical concepts into clear, persuasive narratives that position Crux as the partner of choice. Your work will help shape the first impression clients have of us and ensure our proposals reflect the quality, innovation, and expertise we deliver.

We’re looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, a flair for persuasive writing and the ability to distil intricate project requirements into winning submissions. Every bid will bring a new challenge and you’ll bring the precision, creativity, and energy needed to meet it. This is a chance to combine your writing skills with your understanding of business and innovation, to make a tangible impact on Crux’s growth story.

In this role, you’ll be involved in the bid process from start to finish, driving collaboration across teams, shaping compelling narratives, and ensuring every submission showcases the very best of Crux. This will include:

• Leading the coordination of bid responses across the business
• Analysing tender documents and identifying winning themes
• Translating complex technical information into engaging, client-focused content
• Managing timelines and ensuring all stakeholders meet deadlines
• Maintaining a consistent tone, style and brand across submissions
• Reviewing, refining and proofreading material for quality and compliance
• Building and maintaining a library of reusable bid content and case studies
• Supporting Crux's continual development by raising any suggestions or ideas for improvements

• Previous experience in a technical bid writer role
• Experience within engineering or consultancy sectors
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and persuasive manner
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues across the business
