We are a fast-paced fitness-industry training provider and we’re on the lookout for an adept, agile and talented health and fitness writer to join our product development team.

You must be able to produce strong, engaging and technically accurate copy that aligns with the relevant course specification, and which captivates the reader. You must be articulate, possess a meticulous attention to detail, and be able to communicate exquisitely through your writing.

Ideally, you will possess a degree-level education with qualifications and experience in the health and fitness sector. Above all, you need to be passionate and capable of making a meaningful difference to our product development activities.

• Write articles, course descriptions, training manuals, assessment briefs, assessment questions, and/or eLearning course content.
• Write copy that is strong, engaging, and technically accurate, aligned with relevant course specifications.
• Collaborate with other technical experts within the team to create world-class learning products for our students and help raise industry standards.
• Contribute to other product development activities, including creating and editing videos, photography, eLearning authoring, marketing and promotion.

• A proven track record of writing creative, accurate, authoritative and engaging written content.
• A strong command of the English language, including spelling, grammar, punctuation, and different styles and tones of writing.
• Ability to write long and short-form content that is evidence-based, technically accurate and highly engaging.
• The ability to positively engage and influence people with your written communication.
• Exacting professional standards with a keen eye for detail.
• A strong understanding of different aspects of health and fitness training.
• Good command of the science of exercise, including anatomy, physiology and training principles.
• Knowledge and understanding of nutrition, wellness, and holistic health practices.
• Ability to work to deadlines and as part of a passionate, driven team.
• Ability to use initiative and work independently when required.

• Ideally, a degree-level education with qualifications and experience in the health and fitness sector.
• There is a requirement to complete a copywriting task and demonstrate communication capabilities at interview – please only apply if you meet the above person specification.
