Access North is on the lookout for a new Apprentice Fall Protection Technician — someone hands‑on, switched‑on, and ready to learn a seriously cool trade.

What you’ll be doing

• Installing, maintaining and inspecting fall‑protection systems (safety lines, fixed ladders, handrails, anchors, walkways, etc.)
• Working alongside experienced technicians on real sites, learning the trade hands‑on
• Getting involved in access & rigging work
• Reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications
• Travelling to different client sites (some working away will be needed)
• Learning how to stay safe at height and follow safety rules properly
• Completing a structured training programme leading to yourNVQ Level 3 Fall Protection qualification

• Age 18–21, physically fit, and comfortable with heights
• Great attitude: reliable, curious, and ready to learn
• Enjoys working with both handsandbrain
• Happy to travel and work away when the job needs it
• Communicates well with the team and clients
• Can stay calm, think clearly and solve problems on site
• Pays attention to detail
• Has energy, initiative, and takes pride in doing a job properly
• Up for challenges and stepping outside your comfort zone
• Bonus points if you love the outdoors (climbing, hiking, exploring)
