Description
We’re looking for a Social Media Manager who lives and breathes social. Someone who is equally comfortable owning client relationships, leading social strategy, and creating scroll-stopping content – particularly short-form video.
This role is perfect for a self-starter with agency experience who thrives on autonomy, takes pride in their work, and wants real ownership of accounts. You’ll manage the full social media journey: from insight and strategy, through creative execution, to performance analysis and optimisation.

Key Responsibilities
Client & Account Leadership
- Build trusted, confident relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Present ideas, strategies and performance updates clearly and persuasively
- Proactively spot opportunities for clients to show up better on social
Social Strategy & Planning
- Develop channel-specific social media strategies aligned to brand and business objectives
- Use insights, trends and platform behaviour to inform creative and strategic decisions
- Own content calendars and ensure plans are delivered on time and to a high standard
Content Creation (Short-Form First)
- Ideate, create and deliver engaging social-first content, with a strong focus on TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Script, shoot and edit short-form video content that is entertaining, native and watchable
- Confidently feature in content where required – talking to camera is a must
- Work closely with designers and creatives to bring ideas to life
Trend & Culture-Led Content
- Keep your finger firmly on the pulse of trends, memes, sounds and current affairs
- React quickly and creatively to cultural moments in a way that feels on-brand
- Bring personality, wit and humour to content – without forcing it
Community & Campaign Management
- Oversee community management, ensuring timely and on-brand responses
- Support the delivery of social campaigns, working alongside performance and wider agency teams
- Ensure all content and campaigns meet brand, platform and client standards
Reporting & Optimisation
- Track performance and analyse what’s working (and what isn’t)
- Produce clear, insightful reports with actionable recommendations
- Continuously optimise content and strategy based on data and platform learnings
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Proven experience in social media management, ideally within an agency environment
- A true short-form video native – you understand what performs and why
- Confident and natural presenting to camera
- Strong strategic thinking paired with hands‑on creative execution
- Excellent client communication and relationship‑building skills
- Highly organised, proactive and comfortable managing multiple accounts
- A sharp eye for trends, culture and timely content opportunities
- Experience using social, editing and reporting tools (e.g. TikTok, Instagram, CapCut, Adobe, Canva, analytics platforms)
