Job summary
A well-established organisation in Ashford is seeking a French Speaking Customer Service Supervisor on a fixed-term contract. The role involves leading a customer service team, ensuring top service levels, and training new employees. Candidates must be fluent in French and English, with previous supervisory and customer service experience. This position offers a salary of up to £35,000 and a hybrid working arrangement.

Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a customer service team.
- Conduct regular one-to-one meetings for coaching.
- Ensure health and safety compliance in the department.
- Plan and deliver training sessions for staff.
- Maintain accurate records and internal procedures.
- Liaise with Sales, Logistics, and Finance for service continuity.

This position is offered on a fixed term basis for 12 to 18 months with the potential to become permanent for the right person.
We are working with a well-established organisation in Ashford that is looking for a French speaking Customer Service Supervisor to join their team. This role would suit someone who enjoys supporting others, improving processes and ensuring customers receive an outstanding service.
- Leading and motivating a customer service team to achieve excellent service levels.
- Holding regular one to one meetings to coach, guide and monitor performance.
- Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met within the department.
- Planning and delivering training and onboarding sessions for new starters and existing team members.
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring internal procedures are followed at all times.
- Liaising with Sales, Logistics and Finance to ensure a seamless service for customers.
- Fluency in French and English (both verbal and written)
- Previous customer service experience gained in a busy and structured environment.
- Proven experience in a team leader or supervisory position.
- Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce professional emails.
- Confident use of Excel.
- Comfortable working in a phone based role and able to build strong rapport.
- Experience in sales order processing or administrative work which would be beneficial.
