The role of the Local SEO Executive is to leverage the Google local search landscape and lead activities related to Google products like Google My Business (GMB) and Local Services Ads (LSA). The role will also involve auditing, monitoring, and implementing Technical Local Paid Search & SEO.
- Support the Search Marketing team across SEO, Data & Insight, Paid Search, and Content to deliver priority Organic Search projects globally for Rentokil Initial and its subsidiaries.
- Assist the Digital Projects & Deployment team with the rollout of digital projects, including website launches, competitor analysis, campaign optimization, and social media initiatives.
- Develop SEO management processes, best practices, and guides to support colleagues across markets. Be a reliable SEO contact for BAU issues and assist in troubleshooting and strategy development.
- Collaborate with various teams and vendors to implement Rentokil Initial's Digital Search Strategy.
- Work across organic and local search channels to support leveraging search volumes for conversions.
- Strong knowledge of Local SEO, analysis, reporting, on-page SEO, and social media benefits for organic visibility. Experience with Google Business profile and SEO audits is essential.
- Understanding of SEO best practices, technical considerations, and the organic local search ecosystem.
- Knowledge of search engine algorithms and their impact.
- Experience with technical SEO changes like robots.txt, redirects, hreflang, canonicalization, schema.
- Proficiency with SEO tools such as SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Kerboo, Ahrefs for audits.
