Role Overview

We are seeking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to support a pupil joining our school. Experience with ASD would be an advantage.

Schedule

The post is initially 5 days per week, 1.00pm - 3.00pm, linked to a child until 31st August 2026.

Requirements
  • A detailed understanding of the needs of pupils with ASD
  • Experience of developing social skills in young children
  • A positive approach to behaviour management
  • GCSE grade C or Level 2 equivalent in Maths and English
  • High expectations of all children and their ability to make progress
  • Understand and implement the statutory requirements concerning safeguarding
