Scope is spanning all derivatives applicable to our commodity trading divisions: Metals, Minerals, Bulk, Energy, Power, Gas, etc. You will be responsible for transforming large, complex business initiatives into an architectural vision that will facilitate the structured delivery of functional capabilities. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organisation to facilitate the growth and optimisation of business operations by providing a clear picture of how the application landscape can enable delivery of roadmaps in current and future states, while supporting delivery teams in continuous improvement of our applications.## ## Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:* 10+ years of experience in business analysis and/or solution architecture, driving technology-enabled transformation across complex environments* Strong domain knowledge in the derivatives and commodity trading industry covering the end-to-end trade lifecycle, with an expertise focussing on derivative trading.* Proven track record of delivering large-scale applications while collaborating seamlessly with globally distributed teams.* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively and confidently with both business and IT leaders* Ability to plan and execute work independently with a pro-active approach* Comfortable working in a matrix management structure thriving in flat hierarchies* Excellent verbal and written communication in English**Key Attitudes / Competencies:*** Delivery focus with a can-do attitude* Clear and engaging communicator* Ability to take ownership for decisions in a fast-paced environment* Collaborative and inclusive approach**Key Responsibilities**Strategic Architecture Leadership* Translate complex business objectives into executable architectural visions for commodity derivatives systems* Drive strategic architectural decisions including buy vs. build recommendations for derivatives management solutionsApplication Architecture & Design* Design and maintain functional application architecture and data models across all commodity trading divisions (Metals, Energy, Power, Gas)* Define current, interim, and target state architectures for derivatives landscape mixing in-house and Murex systemsStakeholder Collaboration & Delivery* Partner with senior business stakeholders to align IT solutions with trading objectives* Support delivery teams throughout SDLC, ensuring architectural compliance and business value delivery* Collaborate with technical leads to ensure seamless integration between functional and technical architectureContinuous Improvement & Innovation* Identify opportunities to streamline application landscape and eliminate functional duplication* Drive IT process improvements and industry best practices adoption* Foster collaborative culture across global, distributed teams* Business Enablement* Balance strategic initiatives with tactical demands to create coherent functional roadmaps* Maintain deep understanding of end-to-end derivatives trade lifecycle and industry trends## ## Key Relationships and Department Overview:**Key Relationships*** Senior business stakeholders* Trading IT organisation – Product managers, delivery leads, business analysts, technical architects, developers, QA and project managers.**Reporting Structure**Reporting to IT Derivatives manager in Geneva, Switzerland**Department Overview**Trafigura is committed to building and maintaining world class IT applications and infrastructure.
