The Role

As a MarTech Technical Architect, you will design enterprise‑grade, multi‑product MarTech solutions that integrate customer data, campaign orchestration, and analytics. You will create blueprints, integration patterns, and data architectures that enable real‑time personalization and scalable marketing operations.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the technical solution design for multi‑platform implementations (Adobe Experience Cloud, CDPs, Braze, Salesforce Marketing Cloud).
• Design data architecture including XDM/XDB schemas (AEP), identity graphs, event models, and canonical data models for customer 360.
• Define integration patterns: API‑first approaches, event streaming (Kafka, Pub/Sub), batch ETL/ELT, and data warehouse connectors (Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Specify security, compliance, and privacy controls (PII handling, encryption, consent propagation).
• Develop migration strategies and cutover plans for legacy‑to‑cloud re‑platforms, including rollback procedures and runbooks.
• Produce architecture artifacts: solution diagrams, sequence flows, data maps, interface contracts, and non‑functional requirements (NFRs).
• Provide technical leadership during build: review designs, perform architecture spikes, and support troubleshooting and performance tuning.
• Define CI/CD pipelines for MarTech configurations and integration code; automate testing and deployments where possible.
• Mentor engineering teams, drive architectural governance, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Your Profile

Essential skills/knowledge/experience:

• Extensive experience in solution/technical architecture with focus on MarTech/AdTech ecosystems.
• Hands‑on exposure with at least two major MarTech products (Adobe AEP/AEM, Braze, SFMC, Tealium, Segment, or mParticle).
• Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), streaming technologies (Kafka, Pub/Sub), and data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Proficiency in SQL, a scripting language (Python/Node.js), and familiarity with infrastructure‑as‑code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of identity resolution, consent management, and enterprise security controls.
• Adobe Certified Master Architect or equivalent experience with AEP XDM and real‑time streaming.
• Experience designing high‑throughput, event‑driven architectures for marketing activation.
• Knowledge of analytics pipelines, attribution modeling, and data science collaboration patterns.
