Job summary
A leading healthcare provider in High Wycombe is looking for a proactive Medical Secretary to provide administrative support to the clinical team. Responsibilities include typing correspondence, managing diaries, and liaising with patients and healthcare professionals. Qualifications required include GCSEs in Mathematics and English, a Medical Secretary qualification, and experience in a medical environment. This role offers the chance to contribute to patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations.
Qualifications
- Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including Mathematics and English.
- AMSPAR Medical Secretary Qualification or equivalent required.
- Experience in a medical secretary or administrative support role.
Responsibilities
- Type patient letters, discharge summaries, and general correspondence.
- Manage diaries for named consultant(s).
- Handle incoming mail, calls, and emails efficiently.
- Ensure investigation results are available to clinical staff.
