A local community primary school is seeking a caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to support young pupils in their learning journey. The role involves assisting the class teacher, ensuring pupil safety, and promoting independence. Candidates should demonstrate communication skills, teamwork, and experience working with children, including those with specific needs. The position is fixed term from February to August 2026, working part-time term time only.

The school is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic teaching assistant who can provide support for our youngest pupils, the class teacher and the school, to encourage pupils to become independent learners, to ensure their safety and welfare and support the inclusion of pupils in all aspect of school life.
