Job summary
A family-run environmental services company in the United Kingdom is seeking an Asset Recovery Operative to join their growing team. This role offers a chance to work in diverse environments, applying safety standards while recovering essential assets. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, possess practical experience with tools, and have good command of English. The position offers an attractive hourly wage and opportunities for advanced training after the probation period.
Qualifications
- Confined space training is desired.
- COSHH awareness is essential.
- Practical experience working tools & machinery is essential.
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal) are essential.
- A valid Driving Licence is essential.
Responsibilities
- Work to a high safety standard.
- Identify & log assets through inventory management.
- Utilise technology to establish in scope equipment and update records.
- Work individually or as part of a team to recover identified assets.

Energy & Environmental Services (EES) Asset Recovery Operative

This role offers a variety of opportunities covering a variety of from power generation to telecoms, no day will be the same.
You will benefit from close working relationships with your peers as well as Project Managers and Site Supervisors who hold market leading knowledge to support learning and development.

- Working to a high safety standard.
- Representing the business in a professional manner, at all times.
- Identifying & logging assets through inventory management, on‑site records and investigation.
- Utilising technology to establish in scope equipment and updating records.
- Working individually or as part of a team to recover identified assets.
- Moving in scope kit from generators to telecoms equipment onto appropriate transport.
- Disassembling plant and equipment into right sized manageable elements.
- Liaising with clients professionally.
More advanced training is available (after successful 3 month probation period).
