Job summary
A leading optical healthcare company in the UK is looking for a Domiciliary Optical Assistant. This role involves providing essential eye care directly in patients' homes. Candidates must have previous optical experience and a full UK driving license. The position offers a competitive salary of £24,500 per annum, core working hours from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and various employee benefits including bonuses and wellness support.

Ready to take your skills on the road? As a home visits optical assistant at Specsavers, you can do just that.
You’ll be driving our services to the doorsteps of the nation, providing eye care to the people who aren’t able to come into our stores. But not only do you help them with their sight, you’ll be able to support them to get basic tasks done that they wouldn’t be able to do without you. Essentially, you’ll be bringing smiles and clinical care to the heart of your community.
Based from the Plymouth area, you’ll cover the Plymouth, Torbay or Tavistock territory, providing care to vulnerable patients.
We have a wonderful existing team of dedicated people from optical and administrative backgrounds, who ready and waiting for you to meet.
You’ll be provided with a fully expensed company car that will allow you to bring your care and services directly to people’s homes.

If this is still sounding like a bit of you, we do need you to have a few skills to get started as a home visits optical assistant. These include:
- Previous optical experience
- Must have a full UK driving license

- Previous experience in a fast-paced customer facing environment
- Experience in optical environment
- Basic knowledge/experience of optical
