• Job Title: Writer / Generalist Video Captioning Expert – AI Research Contributor
• Location: Remote (United Kingdom-based applicants preferred)
• Employment Type: Hourly Contract
• Compensation: $45.50 per hour
• Duration: Flexible (minimum 10–20 hours per week for 4–5 weeks, with potential for extension)

As a Writer and Captioning Expert, you’ll watch short video clips and generate concise, nuanced annotations that describe subjects, objects, environments, audio cues, temporal flow, mood, and storytelling elements. Your work will help train AI models to better understand visual and narrative content. You’ll collaborate with a research team, follow detailed guidelines, and participate in multi-round review cycles to ensure annotation quality.

• Watch video clips and generate accurate, descriptive annotations
• Identify and express subtle narrative cues, emotional tone, and visual context
• Apply analytical judgment to determine which attributes best describe each clip
• Document findings clearly and concisely for downstream reviewers
• Follow linguistic, timing, and stylistic guidelines provided by the research team
• Participate in collaborative review cycles to refine annotation quality
• Adapt quickly to new taxonomies and annotation schemes
• Maintain consistency and precision across all submissions
