Gatekeepers Care Solutions Ltd is seeking a Deputy Manager to assist in leading our team and ensuring exceptional care delivery. You will manage day-to-day operations and support staff in providing high standards of care in line with CQC regulations. independently with dignity. We are looking for a Deputy Manager to support the Registered
Manager in leading our team and ensuring exceptional care delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist in the day-to-day management of supported living and domiciliary
care services, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with CQC
regulations.
– Provide leadership, supervision, and training to support workers,
promoting a culture of excellence and professional development.
– Oversee care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures,
ensuring they are person-centred and regularly updated.
– Support with staff recruitment, rotas, and performance management,
ensuring the team operates effectively.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, healthcare
professionals, and external agencies.
– Conduct quality assurance checks and audits, identifying areas for
improvement and implementing best practices.
– Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead in the absence of the Registered
Manager.
What We Look For:
– Experience in a senior care role, preferably within supported living or
domiciliary care.
– Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, and care standards.
– Leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and
develop staff.
– Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– NVQ Level 3 or 5 in Health and Social Care (or willingness to work towards
it).
– A DBS check and relevant care sector training.
