Field Sampling Technician – Environmental Monitoring
Job summary
A leading environmental services company in the United Kingdom is looking for a Sampling Technician to undertake environmental monitoring and sampling duties. This role involves significant travel throughout the UK, working independently and with clients, while ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. The position offers a salary ranging from £24,873 to £29,021, along with additional benefits like enhanced sick pay and flexible leave options. The role is based remotely but requires a valid UK driving licence and extensive fieldwork.

- Full clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively.
- Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills.
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Experience in environmental monitoring is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities
- Collect potable and wastewater samples from sites across the UK.
- Carry out on-site field testing where required.
- Accurately record and report field data.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety policies.
- Transport samples in line with strict temperature control requirements.
