At ALS, we encourage you to dream big.When you join us, you’ll be part of a global team harnessing the power of scientific testing and data-driven insights to build a healthier future.**Sampling Technician – Field Services**To undertake environmental monitoring and sampling duties for commercial and key account clients as part of “Project Aquatrine”.This is a long standing project with ALS Environmental having held the contract (split between two key clients) for a number of years and forms a key part of Field Services activity.The role carries an increased level of responsibility due to work taking place on MOD installations throughout the country.Work is usually carried out to a pre-defined schedule but there is also the need to be reactive and respond to customer requests for emergency call outs, including the provision of cover at weekends and Bank Holidays.The role is based from home but requires a large amount of driving using a temperature controlled refrigerated van to get to and from sampling locations.
