Nonprofit Leadership Programme — a part-time, unpaid remote programme (12 hours per week for 12 weeks). If availability is limited, you can complete the programme in fewer weeks. The programme provides insight into the skills needed to lead and develop a nonprofit organization.

Experience — No prior experience is necessary. The organization welcomes people who are passionate about fighting poverty, regardless of GPA or background.

Details — This is an unpaid internship, although college credit is available. Start dates occur monthly; you may choose the month you wish to start.

• Advocacy Leadership Development — Meet with government members in your district/constituency; represent The Borgen Project at business, political, and community events; mobilise individuals to contact their government representatives in support of key poverty-reduction legislation.
• Fundraising Development — Learn fundraising techniques; create a personal fundraising campaign and meet targets.
• Recruitment — Update job postings; inform groups and classes of openings; an introduction to recruitment platforms; participate in interviews.
• Marketing and Promotion — Pitch story ideas to print, broadcast, and digital media; utilise social media and develop web-based messaging strategies.

• No prior experience required; passion for fighting poverty is the primary criterion.
• Commitment to the part-time program and to the stated weekly hours.

Location: Remote (international) with start dates every month.
