Job summary
A trusted care provider in Scotland is seeking a Weekend Receptionist in Newton Mearns. The role involves ensuring a welcoming café environment for residents and visitors, maintaining cleanliness, and supporting the care team. Ideal candidates should have front-of-house hospitality experience and strong communication skills. The position offers £12.43 per hour plus overtime, professional development, and additional benefits, including a pension scheme and a refer-a-friend bonus.

£12.43 per hour + overtime rates and benefits.
15 Hours per week (Saturday & Sunday)
- being proactive in providing refreshments to residents and visitors in the café areas and dining rooms.
- making sure the café is stocked with food, drinks, cakes etc and is a welcoming and stimulating environment to all.
- maintaining the cleanliness of the café to the highest of Meallmore standards
- working alongside the care team ensuring residents have great experiences.
- A keen eye for detail to ensure the home is always looking its best.
- experience of working within a front of house hospitality environment such as waitering and barista as examples.
- excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate kindness, compassion and empathy.
- the ability to demonstrate knowledge of what excellent customer service looks like.
