Job summary
A leading drone technology company is seeking a UAS Offshore Pilot to perform on-site wind turbine blade inspections throughout the UK and Europe. The ideal candidate will have a current Remote Pilot certification and extensive experience with UAS technology. Responsibilities include daily communication with clients, managing equipment logistics, and working in diverse weather conditions. This role demands a valid passport, a driver’s license, and the ability to travel and operate in remote areas extensively.
Qualifications
- UK Flier ID, GVC, STS or equivalent Certificated Remote Pilot (current).
- Minimum of 25 logged hours as pilot-in-command (PIC) multi-rotor platforms.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with UAS operations and troubleshooting.
- Valid passport and driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Deploy to customer project locations for wind turbine blade inspections.
- Communicate daily on project progress and logistics.
- Charge, discharge, pack, and ship flight batteries.
