Loft Operative/Goods In - Day Shift
Job summary
A leading food production company in Godmanchester is seeking a Loft Operative for their Day Shift team. Responsibilities include maintaining the continuous supply of goods to production areas, ensuring high hygiene standards, and adapting to different shifts as needed. Candidates should have strong English skills, good numerical and communication abilities, and the appropriate truck licenses. Competitive salary and benefits are offered for this role.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off (6am-6pm)
Location: Huntingdon, England
We are now looking for Loft Operatives to join our Production Team. Your responsibilities will include typical tasks related to ensuring the continuous flow of materials to the business and ensuring that the correct stock is delivered to the correct area.
- Maintain continuous supply of goods to production areas
- Record by scan and written log all goods moved
- Check that all crates and packaging are of the highest standard of hygiene
- Be prepared to work in other units on different shifts depending on business needs
- Understand written and spoken English to follow instructions correctly
- Good numerical skills
- Good communication skills
- Counterbalance/Reach truck or Electric / Hand Pallet truck license (Valid RTITB/ ITTSAR license)
- Using scanner guns
- Knowledge of FOPS8/FOPSWEB or similar work system
