A dynamic accountancy practice in the United Kingdom is seeking a full-time Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. This opportunity requires part-qualified or qualified candidates with at least 3-4 years of experience in preparing accounts under relevant financial reporting standards. Candidates must have client management experience, a valid driver's license, and proficiency with accounting software. Due to business growth, we are recruiting in our expanding firm of accountants and require a full-time Senior Accountant part qualified or qualified to join our brilliant team. This full-time permanent position is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to an interesting and quality client base spanning many sectors.
The role will have the opportunity of progression within the firm based on performance and qualifications. Training will be given to continue studies towards a relevant accounting qualification if required. The role will be expected to progress to advise on your own bank of clients.
The applicant should have experience within a busy accountancy practice preparing accounts under FRS102, FRS102-1A and FRS105. It is unlikely that anyone with less than three – four years’ relevant experience will meet the requirements of this role.
The applicant will be responsible for preparing corporation tax returns and self-assessment returns for partner review. The role will require client facing responsibilities and may also include client visits to prepare management accounts hence a valid driver’s license is essential.
The role is varied and experience on accounting practice software is vital. Experience of working with Sage and Xero would be advantageous. Audit experience is desirable but not essential.
