This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the most iconic and successful race teams in the world, Williams Racing. The Senior Associate will join the Williams Education team.

Williams Education is an exciting new venture aimed at expanding access to world‑class Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) education via a suite of through‑life offerings (from primary school through to university). This individual will play a key role in building the long‑term vision of Williams Education, determining the right offerings, and ensuring each offering is delivered – generating a meaningful impact on the UK STEM education landscape.

Today, Williams Education has one offering, a one‑day STEM Experience onsite at its campus in Grove, Oxfordshire. Students aged 8-16 join Williams for a free, taking part in a workshop that embed STEM skills through the lens for Formula 1, trying their hand at racing on our Esports Simulators, and view 20+ heritage cars in the museum. This role will help determine what models we pursue next, ensuring we are solving real customer needs and leveraging cutting‑edge methodologies in STEM education.

Main Duties
  • Conducting regular assessments of the UK Education landscape (from primary through to PhD) and the existing and innovative models for corporate involvement
  • Scoping, evaluating, and executing new growth opportunities to accelerate Williams Education by leveraging key insights gained through research and data analytics
  • Driving hypothesis‑driven quantitative and qualitative research such as analyses to understand our addressable market, competitive landscape, customer interviews/surveys, and/or concept testing to identify actionable insights that shape our strategy
  • Identifying and analysing established and emerging STEM and education organisations with compelling business models and growth frameworks that could inform our own strategy
  • Create operating and financial models to bring the growth opportunities to life, including approaches to commercialise
  • Communicating your findings and recommendations to all levels of cross‑functional management, C‑suite and board through clear presentations that you will then drive through execution
  • Developing cross‑functional project plans to seamlessly deliver growth opportunities
  • Identifying and mitigating execution risks, taking both a proactive approach and escalating risks to leadership as necessary
  • Improving upon process foundations for how we take growth opportunities from ideation to execution as part of our overall go‑to‑market strategy process
  • Creating KPIs/OKRs for each offering, and the related dashboards to monitor each offering’s impact
Key Accountabilities
  • Master in leading cross‑functional projects and managing multiple senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Natural facility with data analysis for testing hypotheses and measuring results
  • Ability to seamlessly manage multiple, complex processes and work streams simultaneously
  • Exceptional relationship‑building skills and willingness to proactively work with cross‑functional teams across the company
  • Excellent, independent time management and prioritisation
