Job summary
A leading global food service provider in the UK seeks an experienced Procurement Manager to oversee the procurement of food and packaging suppliers for UK and Europe. You will collaborate to develop and implement procurement strategies while managing supplier relationships effectively. The ideal candidate has a strong background in food and beverage procurement, excellent negotiating skills, and the ability to handle multiple categories. Qualifications
- Experience with retail or grocery buying highly desired.
- Experience of buying packaging and non-food categories.
- Good knowledge of the UK and/or European supply markets.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a supply base strategy aligned with global strategy.
- Manage the UK & European supply base on a day-to-day basis.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers.
