Location: Newport, NP10 9HZ
- Safely and efficiently transport goods to various locations.
- Assist with warehouse operations when required, ensuring smooth distribution processes.
- Ensure all orders are picked and loaded accurately.
- Load and unload goods from the truck.
- Check all loads for damaged or missing items.
- Valid Class 2 (C) UK driving licence.
- Experience driving Class 2 vehicles preferred.
- Valid CPC.
- Digital tachograph card.
- Multi‑drop driving or warehouse experience.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Flexible attitude to working hours and tasks.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Monday – Friday
- 06:30 – 15:30
- 40 hours per week
This is a full‑time position supported by a dedicated logistics and distribution team. The role requires a Class 2 driver who can adhere to safety standards and maintain high levels of customer service.
The Dalziel group serves the meat processing and retail butchery industry from 12 strategically located distribution sites across the UK. Our product range includes meat seasoning blends, ingredients for food processors, frozen and chilled meats, butcher’s supplies, crumb and battering systems, plastic casings for cooked meat applications and industrial food machinery.
