A prominent charity organization in the UK seeks a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide strategic financial leadership. The successful candidate will manage a team and ensure financial sustainability while working remotely. A proven track record in a senior finance role is essential, along with experience in leading teams and delivering under challenging conditions. Salary is set between £115,000 and £120,000 annually.
Victim Support is an independent charity. They are dedicated to supporting people affected by crime and traumatic incidents in England and Wales, and put them at the heart of their organisation. Their support and campaigns are informed and shaped by these people and their experiences. They provide specialist services to help people manage after crime and to empower them to ensure their voices are heard individually and collectively at a local and national level.
As CFO, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Victim Support's future. Reporting to the CEO and leading a team of around 15, you will ensure the charity's financial sustainability and provide expert leadership across all areas of finance. You will:
This post is in a remote / hybrid position. The successful candidate will be based from home, but will be expected to work regularly with VS staff from locations in London and the Midlands as well as regular travel across England and Wales with occasional overnight stays. Applicants should be able to comfortably travel to London and back within a day.
