These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging and pharmaceutical research.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a team that wins.**Job Description****LOCATION:** Newbury or Presteigne (on-site)Full time, 39 hours per week.*Please note that we are currently unable to support with sponsorship and/or relocation.*We are looking for a management accountant to join the team based in either our Presteigne or Newbury office to assist with the preparation of management accounts for 3 divisions of the TADE UK group of Teledyne Technologies.Teledyne Labtech is one of the worlds most advanced manufacturers of RF & Microwave PCB, specialising in metal back PCB, mixed dielectric multilayer PCB & Antenna.Teledyne Reynolds UK are experts in providing high quality, high voltage interconnect solutions to the most demanding applications in the Defence, Industrial, Medical, Energy and Space sectors.Teledyne Paradise Datacom specialize in high performance satellite modems for secure, reliable communication in commercial and military applications.**Role and responsibilities:**This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and the main duties will initially include, but are not limited to, the following:* Completing the monthly management accounts pack on a timely and accurate basis, with high quality analysis and commentary* Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring that any differences/issues are identified, reported and resolved* Controlling Intercompany transactions/reconciliations* Monitoring projects for ASC606 compliance and monthly valuation of ASC606* Assisting with inventory valuation, analysis, reporting, control and annual stock counts* Monitoring performance against budgets/plan and reporting to the management team* Analysis of Sales and orders* Operational excellence reporting and control – MWC, DSO etc.* Margin analysis and 80/20 quad analysis* Assisting in the preparation of the weekly 80/20 reports* Approving RFQ’s and orders and working with the business team to ensure quote margins meet business plans.* Providing business support and developing financial models to provide financial insight and improve commercial awareness* Ensuring the integrity of the financial records, defining controls and procedures necessary to ensure the consistency, accuracy and reliability of financial results* Assisting with preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts* Various ad hoc tasks**Qualifications*** Candidates must be ideally CIMA or ACCA qualified or finalist.
