Senior Building Services Mechanical Engineer
Job summary
A multi-disciplinary design consultancy in Chichester is seeking a Mechanical Engineer in Building Services to deliver high-quality mechanical designs for commercial and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in building services, deliver mechanical designs, and ensure compliance with UK standards. This role offers a salary between £50,000 and £60,000 and is full-time permanent.
Qualifications
- Experience in building services consultancy or contractor.
- Experience delivering mechanical design on projects £1M‑£5M+.
- Ability to obtain SC clearance.
Responsibilities
- Produce mechanical building services designs.
- Carry out detailed calculations and site surveys.
- Prepare specifications, drawings, and documentation.
- Attend design meetings and communicate key issues.
- Coordinate with architects and specialist engineers.
